The photo shows two East Melbourne Cricket Club medallions. The earlier, 1912-1913, is on the right. The medallion on the left is for the Hawthorn-East Melbourne Cricket Club. The two clubs merged after the closure of the East Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1921.

East Melbourne, 121 Powlett Street

Newspaper clippings and auction brochure about sale of Hazelwell, 121 Powlett Street. The house was once the home of Ivo Bligh and his wife Florence (nee Morphy). Bligh was the captain of the English cricket team to whom The Ashes were originally presented. Michael and Elizabeth Albrecht were the successful bidders. Photos.
