Photographer's note:

The attached photo shows the ABC Television equipment vehicles providing the first ABC live coverage of sport during the 1958/9 Test Cricket Series at the MCG. 

Location is on north side, as cameras were set somewhere in the Members area. Having sun shine into the camera lens, as may happen with a Brunton Ave/south side position, would lead to poor, shadowy, film quality.
