East Melbourne, Albert Street 412, Mentmore
Modest single storey house but with extravagantly scaled 4 fluted composite columns to verandah across front, swags, etc. Eight rooms on land 33 feet by 160 feet.
The house is listed in the rate books as being next door to the Medical Society and next door but one to the Victorian Artists Society, across Morrison Place. The Swedenborg Church is on the near corner but with an address in Morrison Place it is therefore not listed in the same sequence. However the photo clearly shows that Mentmore is next door to another small house, not the church.
East Melbourne, Grey Street 151, Lansdowne Villa
A single storey, double fronted villa, with an arcaded verandah along the length of its front facade.
When Henry Hall died in 1875 he left the house, known then as Lansdowne Villa, and its contents to his youngest sister, Clara Ellen. Clara was the widow of architect, Charles Swyer and she renamed the house Worsley after the place in England where he had died.
East Melbourne, Hoddle Street 1091, 1093 - Burchett
1093 Hoddle Street is on corner of George Street. Note that one of buildings used to be No.21.

Small brick house, plain in style, with no adornments.
This house sits behind the houses at 158-164 Hotham Street, known as Cyprus Terrace. It is entered from Hotham Street via Hotham Place and has been given the address 166 Hotham Street. Originally the entry was from Powlett Street via Magnolia Place and was known 38a Powlett Street and then, after 1890, 91a Powlett Street.
