1862. Benjamin and Wm. Hartley for Joseph Wilmoth 2-room cottage, brick walls and a subsequent addition.
1863. Directory mentions: Joseph Wilmoth with a last house before Hoddle Street.
1864. Jos. Wilmoth for self addition.
1868. B.J. O'Donovan to build 2 houses for and under Joseph Wilmoth.

1886-95c. Herr Louis Pabst, music teacher, lived at No.71. Organiser of Risvegliato concerts.

1888. Described in the 'Building and Eng'g Journal' as 'Royal East Melbourne Coffee Palace'.
