Trinity Church

Holy Trinity Church: aftermath of 1905 fire

The original Holy Trinity Church was built in 1864 and was in George Street, East Melbourne, near the corner of Clarendon Street. On New Year's Day 1905 the church was completely gutted by fire.

Sketch for gasolier proposed for the first Trinity Church, George Street, East Melbourne.  The first church was completed in 1864 to a design by Leonard Terry and was burnt down in 1905.
