Photo shows Pauline (nee Cooney) and Richard Meehan as they leave St Patrick's Cathedral on 2 February 1945. Hubert Cooney, Pauline's uncle and sacristan at the cathedral, is in the background.
Pauline, Richard and their children lived at 4 Grey Street from 1952-1972. Pauline grew up at 1121 Hoddle Street.

Pauline Cooney of 1121 Hoddle Street

First photo shows Pauline Cooney (1916-1989) in the back yard of her childhood home, Doontallie, 1121 Hoddle Street. Pauline was the daughter of John Joseph Cooney but was brought up by her aunt Mary at Doontallie. After her marriage to Richard Meehan she lived at 4 Grey Street from 1952-1976. Second photo shows Pauline with her elder sister, Marie. Marie became a Josephite nun.
