1856-7. Name mentioned: James Simpson, Commissioner of Lands. Died 1857. See A.D.B. V.2. Refer also index card entry for No.94 Wellington Pde. (Note: No.94 was originally No.106. There may be some confusion with the numbers). Refer 2nd index card where Nos.106-8 are combined for listings.
1867. Name mentioned: G. and G. Shaw. Wholesale Grocer, Wine and Spirit Merchants of 35 Flinders Street East. East side of Port Phillip Club Hotel. George Shaw either built 'Tullyvallin' at No.108, or extended original building. (Note on card: 'Telburn' in Shaw's time).
1882-1908c. Name mentioned: George Shaw, merchant of Flinders Street. (Formerly lived at 19 Jolimont Street). Also refer Biography File.
1890. (On index card as 1990). Names mentioned: George, Gaven, William B., Merchants of 370 Flinders Street. (Note: This may refer in part to G. and G. Shaw).
1909c-1918c. Mrs. Eliza Shaw. After her death, name of residence changed to 'Thorlinda'.
1919. Nos.106-8 listed. Name mentioned: Miss Cath. Hanlon.
1921. Name mentioned: Miss Blanche White. residence now named 'Thorlinda Mansion'.
Note1: 'Thorlinda Flats' remained behind office building at Nos.106-8 until recent times and was demolished in 1970's.
