SLV description: "View from Macarthur Street showing a Renaissance revival style building with temple style windows, arched pediment over double column portico above twin stairs and atrium roof. The architect was John H. Marsden and the building was built in 1909 and later demolished [1965] to make way for the modern government buildings."
This is a high resolution scan from a high quality image. Tasma Terrace can be seen to the rear on the left of the image as well as horse drawn carriages travelling along what was then Gipps Street West [now St. Andrews Place].
