Newspaper clipping the about Kelvin Club. The article states that the club's genesis was the Fitzroy and East Melbourne Bowling Club established in 1868 on the median strip in Victoria Parade. The site is marked on the Melbourne Metropolitan Board of Works map detail plan 1028, 1029, 1036, dated 1899. It lay between Lansdowne Street and Eades Street.
