Dispatches from Gallipoli - Phillip Schuler, war correspondent

Newspaper clipping about the life and work of Phillip Schuler, war correspondent for The Age during the Gallipoli campaign, and soldier on the Western Front, where he lost his life. Phillip Schuler was born at Brentani Terrace, 159-161 Grey Street, East Melbourne and lived as a small child at 62 Jolimont Street, Jolimont before moving with his family to their permanent home in Hawthorn.

Dr. Ross McMullin is an historian and biographer whose major interests are Australian history, politics and sport. He has written extensively on the impact of involvement in World War 1 on Australia.
