    Photogrpher's note:
This is a close view of St. Patrick’s College from the corner of Cathedral Place and Lansdowne Street. Only the tower now remains after the main building was demolished amidst much controversy in the 60’s. Looking at whatever old photographs I can find over time, the veranda is an early addition to the main building. In time, even it appears to have had its own modifications with window ‘fill-ins’ to create more enclosed space.
