Digital archive Digital copies of coloured slides. Two photos taken during the Herald Outdoor Art Show which was held annually in the Treasury Gardens for a week each December from 1953. One photo shows patrons enjoying refreshments on the lawns; while the other shows the crowd filing past past the paintings which are attached to cyclone wire fencing. Waterproof coverings are rolled at the top which can be let down at night or during rain.
