A newspaper article about the proposed redevelopment of the house at 140 Jolimont Road, Jolimont, the former home of Thomas Jackson of Young and Jackson's Hotel. The East Melbourne Group is critical of the development which is to be 42m high, retaining only the facade of the old building.

Peter MacCallum Cancer Hospital remains empty

A newspaper article stating that the Peter MacCallum Cancer Hospital in East Melbourne, which has been empty since the new cancer hopital was built in Carlton, has been converted to an intensive care unit for use during the Covid pandemic at the cost of $30m, but remains empty.

Two letters to-the-editor saying how much the condition of Yarra Park has improved over the past year, partly due to the lock-downs caused by the Covid pandemic.  Both letter writers call for for a ban on car parking to keep the park looking healthy.
