Newspaper clipping about gardens featured in the booklet, 'A Celebration of Gardens in Victoria'. The gardens listed were to be open to the public during the year. The scheme was created as part of Victoria's 150th birthday celebrations. It has continued each year since as the Victorian Open Gardens Scheme. In this first year Sarah Guest's garden at 24 Jolimont Terrace, Jolimont was one of 80 gardens open.
