The photo shows a two storey, double fronted house, with front door and portico slightly off-set, the result of extending the original single fronted house sideways. Six small children are pictured in front of the house. At the time the photo was taken it was owned by the Dougharty family who owned it from 1883-1952.  On the back of the photo are written the names of five of the children:

'Isabel, Katie, Hilly (Innes), Ethel, (in chair) Douglas
Perhaps Fred at top left window'

Electoral Rolls give their full names:
Isabel Elizabeth Dougharty, Kate Hamilton Dougharty, Jean Innes Dougharty, Ethel Grey Dougharty, Douglas Hamilton Dougharty.
Probably the unnamed boy at the end of the row is George Innes Dougharty.

Frederick George Dougharty, of 12th Battalion AIF, was killed in action on 23 April 1918.

They were the children of George Hamilton Dougharty and Catherine Henrietta Innes
