Their mother Pauline nee Cooney grew up in the care of her aunt, Mary Cooney, at 1121 Hoddle Street. Pauline married Richard Meehan at St Patrick's Cathedral in 1943 and from 1952-1976 the Meehan family lived at 4 Grey Street.
