MID. Killed in action Oct 1917. Was killed while attacking a Zeppelin in the raid on London last week, was the son of Mrs. R. Solomon, of "Moss Pennoch," Clarendon street, East Melbourne. Lieut. Solomon, after being "mentioned" as a member of the Royal Flying Corps In France, was transferred to England. He had special qualifications as a night flier. Buried GAINSBOROUGH GENERAL CEMETERY
